With FEMININE ENDINGS, school creates a partly utopian setting past post- that doesn’t claim to take a definite position. Flexibility and openness, conceptually as well as idealistically, are pre-condition, feminist ideas (theory and history) the base of it. The questions are: Should we re-name Feminism, and if so, how? How do we define it? Where do we position ourselves? Who wants to come along? It seems to be important to redefine the terms that inform our actions, against the backdrop of normalization, everyday struggles, and institutionalization - established approaches are compressed, important positions insisted on, a new practise area for old-, new- and queer feminist concerns are established. Collective reading (close reading) and discussion of texts are supposed to deepen the definitions of terms and account for their repolitisation and scanning for capability for everyday use. We act as if everything is possible, until it will be possible. (A. Lumplecker/Y. Haddad)
test is a series of exercises, tests and lectures which describe conceptual and artistic strategies of performative feminist action. There, they generate new strategies of processual endings that mirror themselves in the repetition of the repetition, in artistic transference of projection, orchestration, in systemic/structural analysis of context, body, language and form.
